The Corvidae Choker

These simple chokers gained their name because the slick, wet sheen of the crochet nylon thread/yarn looks just like crow feathers.

These chokers are quick to knit and beg for customization with embellishments like charms (like I did) or beads -- though they look pretty goth bad ass on their own -- and make great gifts.

You can close them using self-ties, by leaving a long tail at cast on and cast off, or sew on hook/eyes, snaps, or a small button.

Even beginners can knock out these chokers in an hour or two. The lace pattern is easy to memorize.
