Yarn Any sock yarn will work! I used Birch Dyeworks,and Plymouth's Happy Feet for the toe and heel. Anything with nylon will give you a great sock!Needle US size 1 (2.25mm) If you knit tightly when doing colorwork you may want to consider going up a size to US 1.5(2.5mm) or US 2(2.75mm) I used 9in circulars, but you can use whatever needle set up you like! Gauge 36 rows = 4 inch (10cm) / 32 stitches = 4 inches (10cm) Finished Size This will vary, depending on your foot length and size! The cuff unstretched is 5 inches, and stretched up to 9 inches. Notes These would be great if you have scrap yarn you can use for the toe, heel, and the contrasting color! I would make sure you have around 300 yards for the main color. Just so you can be sure to have enough yarn for two socks.
