Talida is a large & cosy rectangular wrap, worked from edge to edge with beautiful cables and an optional fading colourplay.
With this design, I wanted to create a piece that really highlights the beauty of fading colourways, as well as something that I could easily reach for and wear everyday. So I played with some clean, eye-catching geometric cable and rib motifs, which gently underline the gradient colour changes and guide the eye through the pattern. The design also provides enough textural interest, so it would look wonderful in just a single colour, too. It’s fun and engaging knitting with a subtle, everyday elegance as a result.
Multiple sections with cables and alternating ribbed parts keep your interest during this knit. The finished shawl will add a beautiful, eye-catching item to your favourite wardrobe staple.
