Swinging Kitty Ornament

If you’re tired of Santas, snowmen and reindeers, I have a cat for your tree this year! And because at the bottom of my heart I’m really traditional, I added a bauble, too. And, apparently, the kitty doesn’t mind…

I knit all my toys on circular needles with the magic loop method, but you can use DPNs if you prefer.

There's a printable version of the pattern availlable at the end of the file, so that you can save ink and paper :)

Materials:

• yarn: worsted weight MC: gray (semi-solid in my case) – 45m CC1: white – 16m CC2: red – 30m
• circular needle (80cm/32") or DPNs: 2.75 to 3mm (or the size you usually use to knit toys with worsted yarn – we need tight stitches)
• stuffing
• safety eyes (6mm)
• scrap yarn for nose (pink)
