Sweet Little Christmas Tree overlay mosaic square

Seems like lately I keep seeing these pre-packaged holiday mini cakes in every shop I visit, so I had to see what all the hype was about! All I can say, YUM!! Why not pay tribute by designing a crochet version of this?! This pattern will create a simple square but would make a great table runner by repeating the design a few times, or you could add a few repeats to a blanket for those cozy nights by a roaring fire, or even a fun pillow. It’s the same size as my other holiday-themed squares so you could join a few together into a unique holiday throw - The possibilities are endless!

This pattern includes a fully marked chart & written row-by-row instructions, using US terms.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of #4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”, and uses approximately 200 yards total.
