These fast and easy to knit super chunky socks do not require any heel shaping - the clever stitch pattern means that the socks hug your feet and legs without any faffy heel details to worry about.
You can knit these socks on two straight needles or in the round - instructions are given for both.
This pair of super chunky socks are great worn as bed socks, or around the house as slipper socks.
You need approx 200g of super chunky yarn for a pair of these snuggly socks. We used We Are Knitters The Wool and the project took less than one skein.
You can use either 10mm or 12mm knitting needles - 12mm is recommended for a baggier sock or for tight knitters.
The socks are for average adult feet - instructions are given for a wider foot too.
These super chunky socks are suitable for beginner knitters - they make the most amazing and speedy gift, and are also an ideal treat to make for yourself.
