Sunsprite

This casual cotton shawl adds a carefree, or perhaps retro, touch to your spring and summer wardrobe. A simple knotted stitch keeps it open and light and it's finished off with a playful fringe. The size is easily adjustable for a larger or smaller shawl and the pattern could be used with any weight yarn.

The sample shawl was knit in worsted weight elann Den-M-Nit Pure Indigo Cotton and used every last bit of 200g (368m/400yds) of elann Den-M-Nit, so 450 yds has been indicated as the amount needed as yardage could vary slightly between knitters.
