Summer Sweater Shell

This lacy shell sweater is designed to be worn over a t-shirt or tank top on a hot summer day. The sweater is worked in the round from the waist to the underarms, then the upper back, upper front, and sleeves are worked back and forth (flat). Seams are sewn at the top and the bottom of the sleeves. The easy four row lace pattern and the crocheted scallop edging give this sweater a simple elegance.
