Stripes!

Worked in worsted weight yarn, this top-down, raglan construction cardigan is a quick and easy knit, the stripes keeping the knitting interesting! It is the perfect cardigan for layering or when there is only a slight chill in the air.

Cardigan is knit in rows from the top down starting with a ribbed collar, a circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches and to allow stitches to be worked from either end of the needle for the stripe pattern. 

Tension / Gauge  16sts and 24 rows to 4”/10cm in stocking stitch using 5mm needles.

Finished measurement  Garment Bust 93 (97, 103, 110, 115.5, 121) cm / 36½ (38¼, 40½, 43¼, 45½, 47½). Choose size to give 7-10cm/3-4” positive ease.

Yarn  Worsted weight yarn –  MC; 500 (583, 616, 648, 680, 713) yds / 458 (533, 563, 592, 622, 652) m, 3 x contrast colours; 250yds/229m each.
