Product Description
Delicate and graceful, the Stitches in Time Shawl is a mesmerizing modern take on lace inspired by cable knitting.
It is knitted flat as a long rectangle with a British moss stitch (seed stitch) border around the edges.
The finished size after blocking is length 68” (173cm) by width 18” (46cm). The shawl can be made narrower or wider by completing less or more repeats of the chart.
The photographed sample was knit with 2.5mm (1.5US) straight (or 24” (60cm) circular) and 2 balls of The Yarn Collective Portland Lace (100% wool; 941 yards 860 meters/100 grams) in Keeping Bees (206); however, there are many other wonderful colours.
The pattern includes a chart for the lace work.
