Sterntaler

Sterntaler is a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. The English name is „The star money.“ The fairy tale tells the story of a poor girl, that gives all she have, even her last bread and her shirt. In the night the heaven opens and the stars are falling down to her, transforming to talers (money).

The socks are knitted from cuff down. Cuff, heel and toes are not explained. There are some long floats in the colorwork. You should be able to catch floats and work a stretchy fabric.
