Starfish Potholders

These textured potholders are worked entirely in slip stitches. Short rows and modular crochet result in an interesting form.

The pattern comes with picture tutorials for all stitches and techniques.

stitches:

F (front loop only slip stitch)

B (back loop only slip stitch)

techniques:

short rows

modular crochet

yarn: 4ply cotton

Gauge is not important for this pattern. Chose a hook that lets you work comfortably.

If you don't want to use slip stitches, you can work the pattern in back loop only sc as well. It will turn out a bit sturdier and a bit bigger.
