Product Description
The body of Star Web is knit from the bottom up, in the round. The brim is picked up at the end and knit down. The pattern is a two color 2X2 rib that utilizes slipped stitches so there’s no stranded colorwork involved. The crown decrease involves cabling no more than three stitches at a time.
US 7 (4.5mm) 16” / 40 cm circular needle and/or DPNs for body and crown shaping US 5 (3.75mm) 16” / 40cm circular needle for ribbed brim
Yardage estimates are approximate: 110 (130) yards / 100 (119) meters DK weight yarn, main color 45 (55) yards / 42 (50) meters DK weight yarn, contrasting color
Gauge: 24 sts and 44 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Modified Rib pattern worked in the round on larger needles, blocked.Gauge swatch highly recommended, as always
