Product Description
Spunky Spruce: stylish, modern and rooted in nature. A ribbed border features integrated garter stitch tree trunks, and flows neatly into the tree pattern. Believe it or not, the tree pattern is created with increases and decreases, achieving a cable-type look with no cabling. The crown resembles a flower, and is designed so that a pompom (optional) can be added without obscuring the treetops.
Pattern includes 4 sizes to fit children and adults (plus additional size/ gauge options in “customize” section). Instructions for border, pattern stitch & crown decreases are both fully written & charted.
Yarn: Multi-plied worsted weight yarn. Shown in: ”Berroco Vintage”, color “Fennel”. 80-180 yds/ 73- 164m. Gauge: In pattern stitch: 20sts/ 4in (10cm). (5sts/ 1in). Row gauge: 28 rows/ 4in (10cm). (7 rows/ 1in). Needles: In size needed for you to obtain gauge. I used US 4/ 3.5mm 16in circular & DPNs.
