Souvenir Scarf

The souvenir scarf is a simple, beginner-friendly triangle scarf crochet pattern inspired by my love of traveling (and collecting souvenirs along the way). As a crocheter, one of my favorite souvenirs is—of course—yarn. I have been lucky enough to visit some incredible yarn shops across North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom. The only downside: I never have enough room in my suitcase to take home as much as I’d like, so I am often limited to only one or two skeins.

This pattern was designed specifically for all of the single skeins of yarn I’ve stuffed into my suitcase over the years—ones that aren't quite big enough to make something substantial, but too pretty to leave behind. It can be made from just 1 to 2 skeins and works up quickly, using a simple increase method. The result: a bandana-like triangle scarf (or a large shawl if you checked a bag or have some extra room in your carry-on for a few more skeins) that works up quickly and goes with everything.
