Sonder

sonder, n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. ~ from the dictionary of obscure sorrows.

In German it means “special”, just like the yarn I’ve worked with.

The third collaboration with my “personal” yarnie, my husband Marcin, the man behind the brand Martin’s Lab. This time I was lucky to create a cabled, 100% reversible shawl in color created for me, a darkish, earthly green called Thicket. Tibetan Singles is also the softest yarn I’ve worked with, almost indecenlty soft.

Gauge 26 sts and 36 rows = 10 cm/4” in Garter st measured flat after wet blocking. The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
