Socks for Strider

With a nickname like Strider, eventually I needed to make Aragorn some socks. They would need to be manly, but with a certain depth and resonance. These socks are mainly practical, the ribs give stretch and the slipped-stitch heel provides reinforcement, but the cabled-diamond badge on the outer ankles provides a beautiful bit of decoration for diamond-in-the-rough Aragorn.

The two sizes are written onto different files of the download for ease of use.

Pattern includes written instructions, and sections which are exclusively charted, so you must be comfortable using charts.
