Needles: US size 1 (2.5mm), set of 4 dpns. (NOTE: If you tend to work cables tightly, or have wide ankles, or prefer a looser fit around the ankle, you may wish to go up a needle size and change to needle for gauge on the foot/stockinette portion.)
Gauge: 32 sts and 44 rnds = 4” in Stockinette stitch in the round (or 8 sts and 11 rnds = 1”)
Extras: at least 2 easily distinguishable stitch markers
