Slouch in Motion

‘Slouch in Motion’ is my first published hand knitting pattern and is the result of the first PEKAPEKA design course. It is a REVERSIBLE slouch beanie knit in the round. The pattern starts at the brim, and works up to the crown with a waves and eyelet feature panel.

This pattern includes instructions for 8ply/DK and 10ply/Worsted weight yarns and has 7 sizes.

You will need to know how to work small circumferences in the round and be comfortable with stitches such as YO and p2tog.

Tension: 8ply ~ 22 stitches and 30 rows = 10cm on 4.0mm needles (in stocking stitch, in the round). Materials: 8ply/DK weight yarn (220m/100g) 1 skein (any size hat). 10ply ~ 19 stitches and 25 rows = 10cm on 5.0mm needles (in stocking stitch, in the round). Materials: 10ply/Worsted weight yarn, sizes up to Small Adult size 55cm use under 1 skein (for larger sizes allow up to 180m/120g).
