Sirdar Alpine

It is incredibly soft and snuggly. I'm using it for children's neckwarmers. It is not difficult, though a nightmare if a stitch dropped. There really isn't a workaround for dropped stitches that makes it any easier for a fluffy yarn.

This wool is amazing - knits up fast. With 1 ball you can knit a beret in less than an hour! 2 balls you can knit a hat or neck warmer in less than 2 hours! 4 balls you can make the most amazing snood or long scarf in 3-4 hours! You can just use knit stitch and if you are a beginner then this is easy to knit. Lovely wool, I've made a snood for my Mum for Christmas and am in the process of making a blanket for my Dad. I'm a beginner and find it quite easy to use, not sure I'd want to drop a stitch though!

Purchased Sirdar Alpine yarn. Really good to handle and knit. Finished item soft to the touch and really does look like fur.

This is lovely quality wool. Once you get used to the fur it is easy to knit with. I love the bunny I made with it. Made it for my grandchild soon to be but now all my grown up children want one!

Love this wool for my many projects. Let’s hope they don’t discontinue it in the near future as I haven’t found any other yarn that knits well and keeps its shape when washed
