Simple V Top

This simple and easily constructed v neck crochet top is crochet flat and seamed together with the sleeves done in the round.

You Will Need:

7mm Crochet hook

5mm Crochet hook

Dk acrylic yarn (I used Robin Double Knit – the meterage and grams for each size can be found in the table above)

Scissors

Tapestry needle

Tape measure

Gauge: 10 dc x 8dc rows equal 10cm or 4 inches

Terms (All US crochet terms)

Ch – chain

Dc – double crochet

Ch1 – chain 1

Dc2tog – dc the next two stitches together (this will be decreasing your stitch count)

Slst – slip stitch

Sc – single crochet

Slst into 2 dc – this is used for the ribbing, where you will slip stitch into the double crochet stitches from the previous round

Sk slst – this is used on the ribbing, where you will skip over (not work) the slip stitches and continue onto the single crochet stitches

Scblo – single crochet back loop only
