The instructions include two versions.
An easy whip-stitch version uses the backward loop cast-on method and a traditional bind-off. The top and bottom of the pillow are then sewn together using whipstitch.
The second version uses a crocheted chain provisional cast-on, and the top and bottom are grafted closed.
