Shophie's Masterpiece (blanket)

A delicate stitch flows into a simple textured border in this lovely blanket. The big brother to the lightweight shawl version, this blanket is just the right about of cozy. The DK weight yarn adds structure and stability to the all over lace pattern while the square shape keeps knitting fun and easy; allowing for easy size modification.

This blanket is worked by casting on a small number of stitches and working in the round from the center out. The stitch pattern is broken up into 4 triangles. A border is worked around using a smaller needle in a Garter stitch variation.
