Shellby the Snail

Shellby the Snail would make a handy pincushion, or you could knit a group of snails (an escargatoire!) and hide them in the garden for a treasure hunt. To knit your own snail you will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work a kfb increase and a k2tog decrease, knit stripes and sew seams. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the snail is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, Shellby measures 7cm tall x 10cm long.
