SERENDIPITY ~ A versatile dress that is both rich in new and improved techniques and stylish in form. The dress can be worked in one colour throughout or follow the variations offered, making it suitable for all seasons.
Pattern suitable for yarn exchange: Using Sport #2 weight, (5ply UK, NZ, AU), and going up one needle size (suggested 3.5mm). Yardage will be a variable depending on yarn/needle choice
Main body features a subtle Little Wave Stitch using Crossed (Twisted) Stitches on a background of Stockinette Stitch panels, flanked with panels of Hunters Ribbing that are shaped with Inverted Pleats at center front, formed at the empire waistline. 3/4 length sleeves (with option to work longer) worked in 2 x 1 Ribbing, with Stockinette Stitch used for the sleeve caps with extra fullness incorporated into raglan shaping.
