Serendipity Hat

This hat is a companion pattern to my previously published Serendipity Scarf pattern, which was inspired by a student in one of my knitting classes. I was teaching a pattern for a round dishcloth which was knitted in a series of short-row wedges and with the bound-off edge then joined to the cast-on edge to make a circle. After I created the scarf pattern, I realized that I could use the same dishcloth pattern with an added modification to create a matching hat. Following a bit of calculating and experimenting, I am excited to present the Serendipity Hat!
