Seaside Knitting Pattern Set

Three beach-themed toys to knit with this great value pattern collection: a cute crab, a sneaky seagull, and a suspicious fish- all made from the same three colours of yarn.

All of these patterns are knitted flat on 4.5mm straight knitting needles (so no knitting in the round required). Suitable for any knitter who has mastered the basics and is ready for a new challenge, you'll need to use increasing and decreasing to shape, but the patterns are step-by-step and include colour photographs to help you on the way. You can also knit a little crown to turn your crab into a King Crab!

You will need one ball each of cream, yellow and red yarn to make these toys- we used one ball each of King Cole Big Value Chunky in Cream (551) and Yellow (828) and one ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Matador (1010) but you can use any chunky yarn you have in your stash. Crab measures 14cm tall, seagull measure 21cm tall (including bobble hat) fish measures 28cm long when completed.
