Sagebrush Socks

Inspired by blooming gardens and morning sunshine, the Sagebrush Socks are a simple, elegant pair of socks for the warmer months. They are knitted from the cuff down with a whimsical lace pattern panel on the front and a short row heel.

The Sagebrush Socks are knitted from the cuff down in the round. A stretchy cast on and twisted ribbing creates a neat cuff. The simple lace pattern repeat is worked in a panel down the front of the sock. The heel is made with a gusset and then stitches are picked up and shaped for a good fit around the heel. The toes are made using decreases. The sock is easily customisable so you can have it short, mid calf like mine or a longer sock to suit your style. You can also experiment with colour, trying a variegated yarn or adding stripes for a fun stashbuster project!
