Ruby Shoes

This is semi a free form crochet project. The patterns for the motif are all given but you can decide how you want to place them and how many extra little flowers you want to make to give your shoes a three dimensional look. It is a fairly time consuming project and care needs to be taken with the finishing to achieve the desired look. Too few motifs and they tend to look a bit sparse. Be careful with your tension to ensure it is firm enough. I used a 2.5mm hook but if you feel your tension is loose so that the definition of the motifs does not stand out, try going down to a smallerhook. The photo is a size 36. If you want to make a much larger size you may need a few extra little flower motifs
