Rowan Felted Tweed Colour by Kaffe Fassett

I have been a fan of Rowan Felted Tweed for at least 15 years now and have used it for more than a dozen projects (jumpers and cardigans, shawls and even a pair of wrist warmers) . It's a rather unusual feeling yarn due to the mild felting. It slides off the needle easily, and frogs (ripping out stitches of a project for later reuse) very nicely. The colorway for the. blush and Frost yarn is quite complimentary and gracefully changes colors. A change in the colorway for the chariete(sic) was non-existent. I paired two balls together to use a larger needle : 6.0mm (US 10) - while practicing ribs. The picture shows some of the result of my practicing.

I love the long colour gradient on this yarn, works really well in a colourwork yoke. Colours are great, subtle and vibrant.

This lovely wool provides a subtler colour palette for any DK projects you take on - works well with the standard Felted Tweed too.

Love the feel of the wool, the color was great, beautiful transition from one color to the next.

Great product fab colour choices

Although I bought this I’m afraid it was returned back to Lovecrafts. The colour which was variegated was nowhere near the image shown on the website. I have used other Rowan felted tweed previously and been extremely pleased with the wool but not on this occasion.
