Rose Bud Bag

A very quick to knit gift as the bag is worked in chunky yarn. Great for using small amounts of left-over yarn and for those wishing to try picture knitting.

Materials

200 grams of navy Chunky (12 ply) for main colour

50 grams of dark pink, light pink and green Chunky (12 ply) for the roses

Knitting Needles – 1 pair of 5 mm (UK6 – US8) straight needles

Yarn bobbins are useful to hold the different coloured yarns across the row.

Tension - Although tension is not crucial for this pattern, the suggested tension is: 14 stitches and 22 rows to 10 cm (4 inches) over stocking stitch using 5 mm needles
