RiverRun Shawl

RiverRun is a crescent shaped shawl knit from the top down starting with a garter stitch, shoulder hugging body followed by an elegant scalloped lace edging. Starting with just a few stitches the shawl grows quickly with 6 increases on every RS row.

Yarn: Red Sock Blue Sock Worsted. 100% Superwash merino wool. 200 yards (183 m) per 3.5 oz (100 g) skein. 2 skeins of Red Sock Blue Sock Superwash Worsted in Plum Pudding

Gauge: 14 sts and 28 rows = 4” in garter st (blocked).

Sizes: One size Finished Measurements: Approximately 72” (183 cm) wingspan, 19” (33 cm) depth at center. Needles: US size 9 (5.5 mm) straights or circulars, or size needed to obtain gauge.
