Product Description
A reversible granny square combining broomstick lace sections with open spaces in a graphic checkerboard-inspired design.
The square can be worked in one or two colors, with a different appearance on each side. It can be adapted to almost any yarn or thread, and additional rounds can be added to create a larger motif.
The pattern includes detailed written instructions, step-by-step photographs and a decorative joining method for assembling the squares.
Use the squares individually or combine them to create shawls, wraps, garments, accessories, bags, cushions, wall hangings and other creative textile projects.
This design was originally created for International Granny Square Day in 2018 (#grannysquareday2018).
