Red Diamonds Afghan

This intermediate crochet pattern uses textured stitches to make a chic and modern diamond pattern across the afghan. Make it up in red for the perfect Christmas blanket or in any other color to match any decor. It'll be stunning in any color and, of course, make an amazing gift.

The design is a mix of double crochets and v-puff stitches (directions included.) The pattern includes quite a few notes (and a few pictures) to try to make it as easy to follow as possible.

The finished afghan is 50.5x70" and requires 2800-3000 yards of a worsted weight yarn. (Yarn pictured is Mainstays Basic in Red.) Other required materials are a J-10.0/6.00mm crochet hook, a taspetry needle, and scissors.
