Product Description
This fun ponytail hat knits up in a flash! It has buttons on the back so you can wear your ponytail (or bun) high, low, or in between. Just undo a button wherever you like to position your ponytail, or undo two buttons for a bun.
This pattern is easy enough for beginners, with instructions that are written out row by row. Seamless design means no sewing parts together and no picking up stitches.
Yarn selection: Aran weight yarn (gauge 16 sts to 4”/10 cm). This simple pattern is a great showcase for variegated and handpainted yarn, but is also fun with solids and tonals (especially if you choose some chic buttons!). You can even use thick-and-thin yarns, boucle, or other specialty yarns.
Needles: The pattern calls for US #9/ 5.5 mm needles, or size to obtain gauge, plus one size smaller. This hat is worked flat.
