Quick-Gift Bags

A smaller bag which fits a handmade soap, or a larger gift-sized bag which will hold a small box of gourmet chocolate, deck of cards, or other small item. Knit in organic cotton on large needles to allow maximum stretch, and scrubbability in the case of the soap bag.

This is an ideal simple project for those learning a little bit past scarves.

With one 50gm ball of organic DK-weight cotton, I knit three soap bags and one gift bag with a bit left over.

The sample was made wtih Mirasol Samp’a organic cotton. A suggested substitute is shown below.
