On winter evenings, it does get chilly at the seaside in Portugal. That is why I decided to knit a cozy and soft jacket for that time of the year. I want it to remind me of the summer. What colours represent Portugal? Red and green like the flag? Or blue and white like the colours of the porcelain of the Azulejos? To me, it’s something else: it’s the blue of the sky and the beige of the sand. Time and again I am amazed by the bright sky and wonderful, soft sandy beaches at the many coastal stretches of the country.
