Playground Shawl

Have you ever watched kids around a playground? Chasing each other around and hoping along from one toy to the next without a care in there world. The Playground shawl is inspired by that free spiritedness of children on the playground by jumping from stitch pattern to stitch pattern so you don’t get bored!

Playground Shawl is a top down triangle shawl that starts with a garter tab cast on and then moves into four different stitches patterns that will keep you entertained and knitting ‘just one more section’. Each section is written out and easy to follow along with a check list of sections so you’re never lost!

YARN 800 yards (732 meters) of fingering weight yarn

NEEDLES US 4 (3.5 mm) 32 inch (80 cm) circular or longer

NOTIONS Tapestry needle Stitch Marker Scissors

GAUGE 21 Stitches and 40 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in blocked broken rib

Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
