Plaids is a beautiful, slightly slouchy hat featuring intricate patterning created by means of Twisted Stitches. It's ideal for solid and semisolid DK skeins from your stash.

SizeOne size: to fit 54-56 cm/21-22” head circumference. Length from brim to top - about 23.5 cm/9.5”.

Yarn1 skein of Kettle Yarn Co. BEYUL DK (60% superwash merino, 20% yak, 20% silk; 212m/232y per 100g). Sample made in Serpentine colorway.

Needles4.00 mm/US #6 circular needle (at least 40 cm/16” long) and/or dpns, or appropriate size to get gauge. 3.25 mm/US #3 circular needle (at least 40 cm/16” long) or dpns, or three sizes smaller than gauge needles.

Other1 stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving.

Gauge28 sts and 31 rnds in 10 cm/4” in Plaids pattern worked in the rnd with needle 4.00 mm/US #6. Take time to save time and check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
