Peru Double Cowl

This unique cowl is both practical and a work of art, suitable for Advanced Beginners. Knitted in the round, the design is inspired by traditional Peruvian textiles from South America. The Peru Double Cowl can be draped down the front or back of your clothes. You can double it over for an extra warm neck or, try twisting and wrapping it up over your head to keep your ears warm. The border is bouclé yarn though you can use any textured, Aran weight yarn. How about eyelash yarn or a thick, cuddly hand spun yarn? The centre panel is made from two colors of fingering weight yarn combined to create an exquisite design that is bound to turn heads.

Use colors that are sympathetic to each other for a subtle, classy look or go for high contrast colors when you want a more dramatic effect.
