Description: The Children’s Penguins in the Snow Jumper is a winter knit featuring two penguins wrapped in colourful hats and scarves, standing together in a snowy landscape. Worked in stocking stitch with intarsia charts for the motifs, the jumper includes twisted rib edgings. Front, back and sleeves are knitted separately and sewn together, with stitches picked up for the neckband.
Sizes: Instructions for 2–3, 4–5 and 6–7 years.
Skill Level: Intermediate. Written instructions plus chart for the motif.
Yarn: Double knitting wool (USA light worsted / AUS 8 ply). Jumper shown uses Stylecraft Special DK in Turquoise, White, Lipstick, Black, Sunshine and Green.
Needles: 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles.
Other Materials: Stitch holders.
