Pebble Beach Side to Side Shawl crochet pattern for a shawl constructed from one point of the triangle, increasing on one side to the centre then begin decreasing to make the second side of your triangle, third long side stays straight throughout.

Easy pattern using UK crochet terms DC, TRC, and a TRC Cluster stitch. You will also be decreasing using TR2TOG and DC2TOG. All stitches are explained in the pattern.

You begin one side of the triangle working in rows increasing on one side only, when you get to the centre you begin decreasing on one side only. Your straight side is maintained throughout. This is an easy shape to work with and simpler to count stitches and also to see visually if you are on track.

I used 2 cakes of King Cole Curiosity in Merlin to make the shawl, the pattern includes details for optional tassels you would need a 3rd cake to add tassels to your finished shawl.
