Passiflora wrap

In the summer I love to sit on my balcony and knit. Inspired by the climbing Passiflora that instinctively reached out for spaciousness I created this wrap for when you want that little extra space in the back to feel comfortable.

Easy to make, and a lot of fun to knit. Lays perfect on your shoulders. The “body” of this big wrap is worked in the round. Decrease some of your stitches and the next step, the “skirt” is worked back and forth with some fun simple lace increases. No picking up stitches. Then go on for as long as you like, or your yarn last.

My goal with this pattern was to strike that fine balance: calm, meditative knitting, but never boring. As a friend said: “Looks just right for the kind of knitting I seem to have settled into; not too simple, not too fancy, and wearable”.

There is a given yarn percentage used for each part of the pattern, in case you want to use more, less or another yarn than the one the sample is knitted from.
