Papaya Potholder

A colorful potholder made in aran weight cotton yarn. It is worked in a pretty textured pattern on small size needles to create a dense and sturdy fabric that will protect your hands from the heat of the oven.

Difficulty level: easy (knit and purl)

Yarn: Anchor Style Magicline (100% cotton, 69m/50g; 76yds/1.76oz), 1 ball. Sample used 40m (44yds).

Needles: 3mm/US 2 1/2. You also need a matching crochet hook.

Gauge: 20 stitches/36 rows in stitch pattern = 10cm/4in.

Size: 19 x 19cm (7 1/2 x 7 1/2in), easy to adjust in size
