Bright colors and easy handling

I am crocheting baskets, and the yarn is easy to handle. The colours are bright. They are like a mix between a basket and a bag. I am not sure yet how they will be used as I am gifting them. If stood up, they hold their shape okay, and if they were full, it would be even better. I have not used them yet, so I don't know how they will fare.

Budget wool

King cole wool is a good budget wool and a good choice of colours. I've used claret, merlot, glacier and just ordered this blue. The colours have always been near to the photos but the dolphin blue is much brighter than the photo. I kept it but not sure I'll use it. Daughter isn't keen on the colour.

I crocheted with this 100% acrylic yarn and found it delightfully smooth and strong. It was perfect thickness for 10-15mm hooks/needles. The 100g balls' advertised length is 60m which is about right. I've made blankets and jumpers with this. Recommended wash care is 30°c delicates. Cool iron and low tumble heat. I've washed them on 40°c regular and they've come out well; I haven't tumble dried them to see how they fare. There are a few colour choices but I found there weren't many shade...
