This is great yarn. I crochet and I used it for granny squares for a cardigan. Worked up well with no splitting. It’s super soft and really looking forward to completing my project and wearing my cardigan. I’m very pleased with the yarn and liked there are several nice color choices. I definitely will be purchasing again and highly recommend! In the picture it is the outside mushroom color. Love it!
Go-to place for crochet and knitting yarns
I purchased a big bundle of this Aran-type yarn to crochet a cabled throw. The yarn is true to the description on the manufacturer. It's easy to crochet, soft and yet sturdy. It's really pleasant to crochet and the cable pattern stands out quite well.
Good and not so good.
I knit greyhound snoods for a greyhound rescue charity. They are sold online, so it’s essential to use good quality yarn, that will be soft for a dog to wear. Paintbox Aran fits the bill perfectly. I’m told the snoods wash well, by hand and by machine and they don't loose their shape. The colours are always as described online and the 5 and 10 packs offer good value for money, as I buy the wool myself. I recommend Paintbox Aran 100%,
