Supplies Fingering weight sock yarn 15-20 yards for a Small Ornament 25-30 yards for a Medium Ornament 40-45 yards for a Large Ornament Samples shown in Kraemer Sterling Silk & Silver
Size 2 (2.75mm) needles or size needed to get gauge (I highly recommend 2 circs or magic loop, but double points can also work) Cable Needle Darning needle Stitch markers Clear glass or plastic ornaments
Optional: Buttons (5mm) or beads for owl eyes. You will need 2 per owl, or up to 10 (12, 14) total buttons/beads. Samples shown with 5mm vintage Mother-of-Pearl buttons.
Gauge 8sts per inch in stockinette
