Excerpt from the pattern: Winter is here and school going kids definitely need to stay warm. In order to make sure that my son stays warm even if he has taken off most of his layers, I thought it would be best to knit him a warmer, popularly known as dickey. I remember wearing these myself when I was a child, even though winters back home were not so severe. Now, living through harsh winters makes it essential for the whole family to stay warm. Apart from being so useful, warmers are also in trend in the current season. Even major magazines like Vogue have some of these available in their latest issues.
