Product Description
A multi-coloured cowl knitted in a honeycomb cable pattern.
Although it may look complicated, you knit with only 2 colours at a time, the pattern is intuitive and quickly knits up in the round on a on a 4mm circular needle. Knitted in 1x1 cables you can work without a cable needle. Made from fingering weight or 4ply sock yarn - it is a great way to use up those little bits of left over hand-dyed yarn.
Any Fingering or sock yarns are perfect for this, a good contrast between colours will show the pattern off, and a mix of speckled yarn and semi solid yarn colours will add interest.
The pattern repeats itself 12 times, so you could use 4 different colours, or 12 - it’s your choice. you need a total of 720m of fingering weight yarn.
Have fun, try different colour combinations, different types of yarn, use up those leftover bits of yarn and make a cozy colourful cowl
