My Oasis

“My Oasis” is a boxy pullover worked in reverse Stockinette stitch, which allows you to enjoy fading color work, and showcases the growing lace pattern placed only on the left side of the body.

The pullover is worked from the top down. The fronts and backs are provisionally cast on and German short rows are used to shape the shoulders. They are worked back and forth separately to the underarm, then joined to be worked in the round to the hem. On completion of the body, the shoulders are seamed with three-needle bind off, then sleeves stitches are picked up and worked from the top down in the round. Fading is worked from the upper body, and also on the sleeves.
